Laser hardening

Laser beam allows quick and efficient hardening of a material to a depth of several milli-meters. Robotized laser workplace also enables hardening of cast iron and replacement of carburizing and nitriding with laser hardening, which reduces manufacturing costs ef-fectively.Hardened layer is initiated by self-cooling effect of the material that is used in a laser hardening process.

  • Low thermal loads, that eliminate clinks and deformation,
  • Required depth and hardness control possibility (60 HRC as standard),
