Guide rods

The guide rods are supplied with appropriate roller guides according to the required operating load and design of the guide rod. Guide rods, which are correctly dimensioned and suitably used and positioned in the construction do not require special monitoring or maintenance. It is, however, necessary to protect them against dust, water, and harsh environmental conditions.

In combination with the ball screw and suitable drive, they may form the basic motion unit construction of all sorts of machinery and equipment. The rods are made of steel grades CF53 and 42CrMo4 and are inductively hardened to 58–60 HRC.
